Have you ever noticed how in the prolonged heat of summer there are several things to contend with that are just not typical at other times of the year. Sure there is always something specific to each season, but summer brings wildfires, hurricanes and heat related emergencies to almost all walks of life. Even though summer is coming to a close, typically the highest temperatures are in the month of August. Thus increasing heat related specific preparedness.
Heat and hydration go hand in hand. But what if in a survival situation the heat index is too high and the person is incapable of consuming adequate fluids? That is when understanding how to use Rectal Rehydration in Survival Settings is not something to be squeamish over. It is life-saving information! Even learning a how to have Water Production from the Air may be of use if someone were to be severely dehydrated and water is nowhere to be found. These are of course, at least marginally ideal situations within a community. But having a backup plan and knowing How to Locate a Place of Safety is important should those communities not always harbor ones with the better of intentions.
For many of you, the homestead may be your place of safety. So work on making it run with all the self-sufficiency possible is paramount. Livestock can be such a tumultuous addition, but it doesn’t have to. Raising Animals on the Homestead can be very rewarding and beneficial to a safe, self-sustaining way of life. Even when there is need for Getting Rid of the Critters in Your Critter.
Even those who don’t know there is the need to Prepare seem to know there is ‘something’ on the horizon that requires our attention. Something that is not typical to the Status Quo. In the Devotion: A Shaking in The Last Days, Pastor Jeff explains why we all need to pay attention.
